FAQs

How early should couples start to plan their wedding? Hire a wedding coordinator?
Anywhere from 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to start planning. You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed, but you also don’t want to be planning for too long. I do recommend hiring your wedding coordinator right away, even for the ‘month of/day of’ package. You’ll want to get a contract signed to ensure the coordinator is available for your wedding date.

Can we hire you as soon as we get engaged or should we wait?
As soon as you get engaged is recommended. Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better!

What areas do you service?
We service all of Florida & willing to travel.

What payment types do you accept?
We currently accept cash, checks, and many online money services (ex. venmo, etc)

There is a lot of talk about the “Day Of Service”. Can you share what your experience has been and maybe the misnomer of the title “Day of”?
There is no such thing as ‘day of’. A coordinator cannot just show up to your wedding day blind with no information or meetings prior. Too many things can go wrong. A coordinator still needs to meet with the couple prior to the actual day to gather information and details so that we can be the point person for the bride & groom ensuring that everything goes smoothly as well as be able to properly execute their vision and run a successful event. We are able to really get to know our couples, gather all of their information & details for the big day, confirm times with all vendors, and help to create a timeline. We are in constant communication with unlimited phone calls & emails.

How do I book a date with you?
By emailing, calling or filling out the contact form on our website. We will schedule a free, no obligation consultation with you to make sure we are a good fit and that we can meet your needs. Most consultations take about 1 hour.

Will you work with vendors we select, or only those you recommend?
We will absolutely work with your choice of vendors, however we have a great team of preferred vendors that we work with should you need any referrals.

A Wedding Coordinator is expensive; can’t my friends or family help out?
A coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress & duty off you and your family. Just like you, your friends & family want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.

What is the difference in a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?
A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event &/or they have other events they are overseeing on property during the same time. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, greet all your vendors, send out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that your vision has become a reality.

What if I book a coordination package and realize I need more support?

No problem! We will schedule a call to discuss your needs and decide if upgrading to Partial Planning is the right decision for you, or if you simply need to add a few “wedding coaching” meetings onto your package!

Are there any hidden fees or “catches” with your packages?

Nope! We are very firm believers in transparency. As event planners we spend a lot of time pouring through wedding vendor websites and can truly sympathize with the frustration that accompanies not finding clearly stated packages, prices, limitations, etc. Your happiness is our own, and hidden fees are not the way.
